...yeah, I turned 21 a couple of weeks ago. :B And then I got smacked in the ass with PMS and depression, and then I got sick immediately after that, effectively throwing a wrench in production. But it's time to poke this old corpse with a stick again. Revamps are almost halfway done; I have page 4 to clean up and once I finish that then I'll start on page 5. I've learned that keeping a deadline is kind of futile, especially given how much time I pour into these things as it is, so I'm going to work on getting a page a week barring sickness or depression or general life, like I used to.

I'm trying to get a job again, I need to get one by the end of the month or I'll be up shit creek, to apply a friendly colloquialism. It's rather frustrating that so many of the jobs that I qualify for here seem to require a car, which I do not have and could not even hope to afford. Pff. I'll keep trying. :< Olympia does not seem to be very kind to people re: jobs that aren't retail, since there's now a freeze on government jobs too which rules out a big chunk of what I was going to look for.

I love my banjo, it's really fantastic. I can play many songs on it, and teaching myself to play songs by ear is fairly easy to boot. I'm thinking about expanding my interests and getting an open-back 5-string banjo (I have a home-built 4-string from the late 1910s! *A* <3), and replacing the metal strings with nylon strings to replicate the sound of a minstrel banjo with a much more affordable price tag (replica minstrel banjos are custom made and range from $725-1000+). I think I'll be saving that for when I've got a stable job, or part with my acoustic guitar that I never play.

I should probably be in bed. I'm not really tired though... I guess I'll use this time to work on comics until I take a nosedive into the keyboard.
